Accomodation

Our holiday homes comprise a two bedroom and a three bedroom unit and offer accommodation for four to six persons. Both homes are 40 metres from the beach.

Carolina

The two bedroom unit comprises one double and one twin bedded room. The main sitting room opens to a panoramic conservatory where you can watch the glorious sunsets on Lough Swilly. The outside area has a patio with garden furniture.

The sitting room incorporates a state-of-the-art kitchen which includes dishwasher, washer dryer, microwave, fridge freezer, television and electric cooking facilities. This room also has an open fire for those chilly evenings. Tilled bathroom incorporating shower.

These recently refurbished houses have wooden floors in all bedrooms and hygienic tiled floors throughout. Houses are 40 metres from the beach.

Cashel

The three bedroom house incorporates two double bedrooms and the third room has bunk beds. All bedrooms have wooden floors. The sitting room with state-of-the-art kitchen includes dishwasher, washer dryer, microwave, fridge freezer, television and electric cooking facilities.

The living area and bathroom and shower are tiled throughout for hygiene and easy maintenance. There is a large patio to the front with garden furniture where you can relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery.

Directions

Access to Porthaw Glen is through the town of Buncrana, take the first left where there is a signpost for Dunree, across the stone bridge.
Travel straight up the steep hill straight ahead. At three road junction follow the signpost for Ned's Point Fort (2nd on left).
Take the second turn off on the right and follow the road almost to the beach. There you will see the houses. Call to Porthaw Lodge for keys.
